Tiger Woods Favorite To Win US Open

Real-time betting offered throughout tournament

PINEHURST, NC, June 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Sportsbook.com has listed Tiger Woods as the favorite to win his third U.S. Open with odds at 4-1, despite the fact he recently lost his world number one status. He's followed closely by Phil Mickelson (6-1,) Ernie Els (6-1,) and world number one Vijay Singh (8-1.) Defending champion Retief Goosen is well behind the lead pack with odds at 14-1.This year, Sportsbook.com will become the first online sportsbook to offer real-time betting for one of golf's majors. Real-time betting will be available throughout the entire tournament.

"Sportsbook.com players love to wager on the golf majors," says Peter Childs, Odds Maker, Sportsbook.com. "And because these tournaments are often unpredictable, offering real-time betting gives our fans the opportunity to keep up to date with the leader board and revise their bets throughout the game."

The US Open begins June 16 from the Pinehurst Resort in North Carolina. The US Open was last played at Pinehurst in 1999 when Payne Stewart took home the title.
