October 15, 2007 -- CHEYENNE, Wyo. - Changes to rules that govern the use of Bureau of Reclamation lands would negatively impact upon the residents and concessionaires who currently live on and do business in these locations in Wyoming, Governor Dave Freudenthal said this week.
Freudenthal submitted comments on the proposed changes to Bureau of Reclamation (BOR) Rule 43 CFR 429, expressing his concern that the modifications would evict small business owners and residents on leased areas, curtail recreation-related services on Reclamation lands and decrease sales tax revenue for the state. » read more »
