BENTONVILLE, Ark., Aug. 14, 2007 -- Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. (NYSE: WMT) today reported its sales and earnings for the quarter ended July 31, 2007. Net sales for the second quarter of fiscal year 2008 were $91.99 billion, an increase of 8.8 percent over the second quarter of fiscal year 2007.
