Kentucky AG Announces Guilty Plea and Landmark Settlement In Election Contribution Investigation

January 04, 2008 -- Kentucky Attorney General Greg Stumbo announced today that his office has reached a landmark settlement in Franklin Circuit Court related to election fraud in illegal contributions to campaigns for Kentucky Governor.

November 8, 2007 -- INDIANAPOLIS, IN – Two more people charged with vote fraud by the Lake County Joint Vote Fraud Task Force have plead guilty and another person has been sentenced announced Indiana Attorney General Steve Carter. There are now 37 convictions against 53 defendants for vote fraud. Trial dates or pre-trial hearings are scheduled for 11 remaining cases brought by AG Carter and Lake County Prosecutor Bernard A. Hammond, Indiana Man Sentenced For East Chicago Primary Vote Fraud

April 24, 2007 -- CROWN POINT - Lake County Indiana Prosecutor Bernard A. Carter and Indiana Attorney General Steve Carter announced Tuesday that a Hammond man was sentenced to one year probation and 30 hours community service for vote fraud.

Mario Delvalle, 32, pled guilty March 14 to Voting in Other Precinct, a Class D Felony. He was sentenced by Lake Superior Court Judge Thomas P. Stefaniak Jr. Stefaniak said Devalle is also barred from employment or contract with any government entity for 20 years.    » read more »
