Nickelodeon's 'Avatar: The Last Airbender' Hits All-Time Series High
NEW YORK, July 22, 2008 -- Nickelodeon's Avatar: The Last Airbender ended its third season with a "b-Aang," scoring the series' highest ratings ever, and earning the number-one spot on broadcast and basic cable television for the week with kids and tweens.
The two-hour season-three finale, Sozin's Comet (Sat., July 19, 8 p.m. ET/PT), wrapped up a week of new, half-hour Avatar episodes (Mon-Tues., Thurs.-Fri., 8 p.m. ET/PT), including a one-hour TV movie mid-week, Avatar: Boiling Rock (Wed. July 16, 8 p.m. ET/PT).

ESPN’s 2008 U.S. Open Playoff Is Most-Viewed Golf Cable Telecast Ever
First Two Rounds on ESPN Were Most-Viewed in Eight Years
June 17, 2008 -- ESPN’s coverage of the 2008 U.S. Open playoff on Monday from noon-2 p.m. ET was the most-viewed golf telecast in cable TV history (4.2 household rating, 4,055,000 household impressions, 4,762,000 viewers). Tiger Woods defeated Rocco Mediate in a sudden playoff at Torrey Pines. ESPN aired the first two hours of the playoff, which went into sudden death. WWE Ratings Still Lead the Pack
June 3, 2008 -- There has been some discussion around Monday Night RAW’s Memorial Day rating. Let’s put all this into perspective. First, over the past 13 weeks (3/3/08-5/26/08) Raw has averaged more weekly viewers than during the first 13 weeks following the show’s return to the USA Network in October 2005.
Even with a lower than usual rating, on Memorial Day, RAW was the #1 regularly scheduled cable program in primetime among households. RAW also was the #1 program on all primetime television among Persons 12-17 and the #2 television program among Males 12-17, Males 12-34, Males 18-34 and Persons 12-34. » read more »
