Connecticut Governor Rell Joins DMV, State Police to Launch Annual Three-Day Truck, Bus Safety Inspections

June 5, 2007 -- Connecticut Governor M. Jodi Rell today announced joined officials from the Department of Motor Vehicles and the Connecticut State Police to kick off a three-day, annual safety campaign called Roadcheck 2007. The crackdown this year will target high-crash areas, looking for commercial trucks or buses that violate state and federal safety regulations.
