Roger Federer Advances to Third Round of Rome Masters
08 May 2007 -- World No. 1 tennis player Roger of Switzerland has advanced to the third round of the Rome Masters tournament in Italy.
After receiving a bye into the second round, the top-seeded Federer won his opening match at the clay-court event, defeating Spain's Nicolas Almagro, 6-3, 6-4. Nadal Beats Federer in Rome Masters Doubles Match
07 May 2007 -- World number two tennis player Rafael Nadal of Spain has extended his advantage over top-ranked Roger Federer of Switzerland, beating him in a doubles match at the Rome Masters tournament in Italy.
Nadal and fellow Spaniard Carlos Moya teamed up to beat Federer and his Davis Cup teammate Stanislas Wawrinka, 6-4, 7-6 in Monday's opening round doubles match. » read more »
