DES MOINES – The Brownback for President campaign today released the program schedule for the Brownback Tent at the Ames Straw Poll on Saturday, August 11.
Senator Brownback will address the crowd in his tent several times throughout the day, in addition to speaking inside the Hilton Coliseum at approximately 3:10 pm.

July 7, 2007 -- ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA – Presidential candidate Ron Paul today won the Coalition for New Hampshire Taxpayers (CNHT) straw poll at their annual picnic in Hopkinton, New Hampshire. Dr. Paul received 182 of 294 votes cast, or 65 percent. In second place was Rudy Giuliani with 24 votes, or 8 percent.

Dennis Kucinich: Coos County Democrats favor Kucinich in balloting
May 15, 2005 -- BANDON, Oregon -- Dennis Kucinich was the winner in a straw poll of Coos County Democrats, following the county's annual Democratic Recognition Dinner May 12.
Kucinich gathered 26 percent of the votes to best the seven other Democratic presidential candidates, according to Matt Christensen, chair of the Coos County Democratic Central Committee.
Christensen said Kucinich led a tight top-tier race between himself and Sen. Barack Obama and John Edwards, who scored 24 and 23 percent, respectively. » read more »
