Seattle Mariners, FSN Increase Outreach to Spanish Speaking Fans with Launch of LosMarineros.com

03/27/2008 -- The Seattle Mariners and television partner FSN Northwest today announced two efforts designed to bring Mariners baseball closer to Spanish speaking fans locally, nationally and internationally.

The Mariners official Spanish-language website, losmarineros.com, will go live on Opening Day, Monday, March 31, and FSN announced an enhanced distribution package for Spanish Audio feeds of Mariners home games. Spanish speaking fans will now have four options for receiving the game broadcasts:

* The Secondary Audio Program (SAP) feed on cable systems carrying the FSN telecasts in the Northwest
* Radio station ESPN Deportes 1230 in Portland

Minnesota Twins Announce New Spanish Language Radio Broadcast Partner

03/05/2008, MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL -- The Minnesota Twins today announced their new Spanish language radio broadcast partner for 2008 is Latino Communications Network (LCN). A total of 26 broadcasts throughout the 2008 season, including Opening Day (March 31) and all Tuesday and Sunday home games, will be simulcast on both KMNV AM 1400 and KMNQ AM 1470.

The play-by-play announcer will be Alfonso Fernandez and the color analyst will be Twins legend Tony Oliva. In addition, there will be 15 minute pre- and post-game shows.    » read more »
