But as VOA's Jim Stevenson reports, heavily favored United States is standing in the way of the South American team.

19 September 2007 -- A powerful typhoon has brought wind and rain to eastern China and has forced changes in the schedule at the 16-nation Women's World Cup football (soccer) tournament.
