May 8, 2008 -- For the first time, ESPN, Inc., will present exclusive live coverage of the UEFA European Football Championship 2008 Saturday, June 7, through Sunday, June 29, from eight cities in Austria and Switzerland.

ESPN2, ESPN, ESPN Classic and ABC will combine to present all 31 matches live – five on ESPN Classic, 17 on ESPN2 and seven on ESPN. ABC will broadcast two matches – a quarterfinal contest on June 21 and the Euro 2008 title match Sunday, June 29 at 2:30 p.m. ET from the Ernst-Happel-Stadion in Vienna, Austria.    » read more »

March 24, 2008 -- ESPN’s high definition coverage of the 13th Major League Soccer season will kickoff with a rare doubleheader Thursday, April 3 – New England Revolution, 2007 MLS Cup finalist, visiting Mexican National Team striker Cuauhtémoc Blanco and the Chicago Fire at 8 p.m. ET, followed by the return of the new San Jose Earthquakes (making their season debut) at the David Beckham-led Los Angeles Galaxy at 10:30 p.m. – on ESPN2. The MLS doubleheader will mark the return of ESPN2’s MLS Primetime Thursday, the exclusive primetime window featuring the only live MLS match in the country.

Thursday, December 20, 2007, INDIANAPOLIS---For the fifth consecutive year, all 88 National Collegiate Athletic Association championships will receive television exposure, including 10 fall sports to be featured in a one-hour special.

“CBS Sports Presents Championships of the NCAA” will air at 3 p.m. Eastern time Saturday, December 29, on CBS Sports. Highlights and stories from cross country, field hockey, soccer and volleyball will be featured in the program.
