10/10/2007, SAN FRANCISCO -- The San Francisco Giants have outrighted right-handed pitchers Kelyn Acosta, Dan Geise, left-handed pitcher Travis Blackley and infielder Scott McClain to triple-A Fresno, club Senior Vice President and General Manager Brian Sabean announced today.
With today's moves, San Francisco has 36 players on the 40-man roster and another four players on the 60-Day Disabled List.

09/05/2007 -- Colorado Rockies manager Clint Hurdle has been suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount for his inappropriate actions during the top of the ninth inning of his Club's Aug. 31st game against the Arizona Diamondbacks at Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona.
Bob Watson, Vice President of On-Field Operations for Major League Baseball, made the announcement.
Clint Hurdle's suspension is scheduled to be served tonight, when the Colorado Rockies host the San Francisco Giants at Coors Field in Denver.
