CHICAGO, MARCH 31, 2008 - In preparation for the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, the U.S. Olympic Committee (USOC) and the General Electric Company (NYSE: GE), a Worldwide Partner of the Olympic Games, announced today two research programs aimed at demonstrating that health monitoring and early intervention leads to injury prevention and enhanced health and sports performances for athletes. » read more »
US Women Rowers Win Eights Race in World Rowing Championships in Germany

02 September 2007 (VOA Sports) -- The United States has won the women's eights race on the final day of the world rowing championships in Munich, Germany while Canada took the men's version of the event.
The United States led from the start Sunday to defend its women's title (6:17.20), edging Romania (6:18.33). Britain placed third (6:19.66). » read more »
