Connecticut Governor Rell Announces Continued Increases on Mass Transit Ridership Numbers

July 15, 2007 -- Connecticut Governor M. Jodi Rell announced today that ridership continues to increase on Connecticut rail and bus mass transit systems. Ridership figures for the month of May 2007 indicate an 8 percent increase in intrastate rail travel (rides within Connecticut) on the New Haven Rail Line from May, 2006. Bus service, operated by CTTransit in the cities of Hartford, New Haven and Stamford, showed an increase of over 4 percent in ridership when compared to May, 2006.    » read more »

June 26, 2007 -- The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) today announced the release of the state's 2005-2030 long-range transportation plan (MI Transportation Plan).

Two years in the making, the plan is based on an unprecedented amount of public input and guidance from Michigan business, government and customer stakeholders.
