Helpful Hints for Atlanta Braves Fans Coming to Turner Field

• With large crowds expected and on-going construction on the downtown connector, fans heading out to Turner Field this week for the Braves first homestand of the year are encouraged to arrive early or consider taking Marta.
• Turner Field parking maps can be found at braves.com/parking along with detailed directions, parking and traffic information.
• On Opening Night, the Green, Blue, Orange, and Gold lots will be PERMIT ONLY parking. If fans do not have a permit, please park in the official Braves (Grey, Brown, Red and Yellow) lots located west of the Interstate along Central Avenue. » read more »
Standing Room Only Tickets for Pittsburgh Pirates 2008 Home Opener Go on Sale Monday, March 31
03/28/2008 -- The Pittsburgh Pirates announced today that Standing Room Only tickets for the 2008 Home Opener will go on sale on Monday, March 31. Beginning at 9 a.m. fans can purchase Standing Room Only tickets to the April 7 Home Opener online at pirates.com or in person at the PNC Park Main Box Office Monday through Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Tom Gorzelanny is scheduled to take the mound for the Pittsburgh Pirates in the Home Opener against the Chicago Cubs. The game is scheduled to start at 1:35 p.m.

Pre-game ceremonies beginning at 6:30 p.m. will feature a video tribute to the Braves storied franchise, the longest continuously operating franchise in Major League Baseball. After full squad introductions, recording star Diana DeGarmo will sing the National Anthem and pilots from Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base, New Orleans will perform a fly over in F-18 Hornets. » read more »
