13 October 2007 -- Major League Baseball's Colorado Rockies posted a 3-2 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks Friday to take a two-games-to-none lead in the best-of-seven National League Championship Series.
The visiting Colorado Rockies were leading 2-1 in the bottom of the ninth inning when Arizona Diamondback's Eric Byrnes drove in the trying run. 10/10/2007, PHOENIX -- The Colorado Rockies announced this afternoon their 25-man roster for the 2007 National League Championship Series, which is scheduled to begin tomorrow night at Arizona:
Right-handed Pitchers: Taylor Buchholz, Manuel Corpas, Josh Fogg, LaTroy Hawkins, Matt Herges, Ubaldo Jimenez and Ryan Speier
Left-handed Pitchers: Jeremy Affeldt, Jeff Francis, Brian Fuentes and Franklin Morales

Arizona Diamondbacks Announce 25-Man NLCS Roster
10/11/2007, PHOENIX -- The Arizona Diamondbacks have announced their 25-man playoff roster for the National League Championship Series. The roster remains the same as it was for the National League Division Series. The club will carry 11 pitchers, 3 catchers, 7 infielders and 4 outfielders active for the D-backs. The roster is as follows:
PITCHERS (11) -- Juan Cruz, Doug Davis, Edgar Gonzalez, Livan Hernandez, Brandon Lyon, Dustin Nippert, Micah Owings, Tony Pena, Doug Slaten, Jose Valverde and Brandon Webb.
