Bergen County, New Jersey Man Indicted on First-degree Drug Charge

Charged With Possession of Kilogram of Cocaine

August 21, 2007 -- TRENTON - New Jersey Attorney General Anne Milgram and Criminal Justice Director Gregory A. Paw announced that a Bergen County man was indicted today by a state grand jury for allegedly possessing a kilogram of cocaine which he intended to distribute.

According to Director Paw, Juan Carlos Barroso, 34, of Cliffside Park, was charged in a two-count indictment with first-degree possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and third-degree possession of cocaine.    » read more »

Boise, Idaho Resident Sentenced to Prison in Marijuana Trafficking Case

August 20, 2007 -- (Boise) – Boise, Idaho resident Geoff A. Maestas, 32, was sentenced to prison today for trafficking marijuana, Idaho Attorney General Lawrence Wasden said. Fourth District Judge Thomas Neville ordered Maestas to serve at least three and up to ten years in prison and pay a $3,000 fine. Judge Neville also ordered Maestas to pay $1,200 in restitution to the State of Idaho’s Crime Lab.    » read more »
