October 30, 2007 -- New Hampshire Attorney General Kelly A. Ayotte has announced that Sylenda Mitchell, age 58, of Center Conway, New Hampshire has been sentenced by a Carroll County Superior Court judge to serve nine months in jail following her guilty pleas to five felony counts of illegally possessing narcotics. The pain medications were prescribed for several nursing home residents at a North Conway facility. (Washington, DC, October 24, 2007) – The US Congress should oppose counternarcotics assistance to Mexico unless it includes strong conditions aimed at ending abuses by Mexican security forces, Human Rights Watch said today.

09/28/2007 -- (DENVER) – Colorado Attorney General John W. Suthers today announced $375,000 in Daniels Fund grants to a pair of Colorado anti-methamphetamine programs. The grants were announced prior to a meeting of the Statewide Methamphetamine Task Force, which the Attorney General chairs.
