Under the terms of the merger agreement, each share of Dow Jones common stock was converted into the right to receive, at the election of the holder, either (x) $60.00 in cash or (y) 2.8681 Class B common units of Ruby Newco LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of News Corporation. CBS Corporation Completes Sale of Radio Stations to Entercom
11.30.2007 -- CBS Corporation (NYSE: CBS and CBS.A) today announced that it has completed the previously announced sale of its radio stations in four markets to Entercom Communications Corp. for $262 million in cash.
In May of 2006, CBS Corporation announced its intention to explore the divestiture of radio stations in ten of its smaller markets. With the closure of the Entercom stations, the Company has now completed all of its previously announced radio station sales.
