24 August 2007, Washington (By Ray McDonald) -- The reality show star, Nicole Richie checked into a detention facility in suburban Lynwood, California at 3:15 p.m. on August 23. She was released at 4:37 p.m., "based on her sentence and federal guidelines," according to Los Angeles County Sheriff's Deputy Maribel Rizo.

When asked whether Nicole Richie, who is four months' pregnant, spent her sentence in a jail cell, Rizo had no further comment.    » read more »
