Justine Henin, Maria Sharapova Score Second Wins at Sony Ericsson Tennis Open in Spain
09 November 2007 -- Defending champion Justine Henin of Belgium and former champion Maria Sharapova of Russia have scored wins at the season-ending Sony Ericsson Championships in Madrid, Spain.
Justine Henin, who had previously qualified for the semifinals, did not lose a game in routing Marion Bartoli of France in straight sets, 6-0, 6-0. It was the Belgian's third win in round-robin play. Bartoli was a last-minute replacement for American Serena Williams, who pulled out of the event Thursday because of a knee injury. » read more »

Polish teenager Agnieszka Radwanska shocked Maria Sharapova, 6-4, 1-6, 6-2.
Another seeded Russian also fell in third-round play Saturday when unseeded Agnes Szavay of Hungary downed number seven Nadia Petrova (6-4, 6-4).

20 June 2007 -- Roger Federer of Switzerland and Spain's Rafael Nadal have been named the top two men's seeds at the Wimbledon tennis Championships, which get under way Monday in London.
Federer will be trying for his fifth straight title on the grass courts of the All England Club, after he beat Nadal in last year's final. But Nadal, who has dominated Federer on clay, is expected to give Federer a bigger challenge this year.
