MLB.com Live Video Programming Expands Beginning March 31
Opening Day on BaseballChannel.TV highlighted by premiere of MLB.com "Whiparound"
NEW YORK, 03/28/2008 -- MLB.com, the official website of Major League Baseball, will launch an expanded lineup of free live broadcast programming via BaseballChannel.TV for the 2008 season beginning on Monday, March 31 at 9 a.m. (EDT).
The new channel lineup will include the debut of the MLB.com "Whiparound," a live 60-minute show featuring news, updates and analysis directly from the field of that day's home ballparks.
Hosted by Noah Coslov and Paul Devlin, "Whiparound" will typically air from 6-7 p.m. (EDT) every weekday, but will premiere at 12 p.m. EDT on Opening Day to preview the first full day of games. » read more »

MLB, MLBPA to Stay Discipline of Jose Guillen, Jay Gibbons
03/28/2008 -- Major League Baseball (MLB) and the Major League Baseball Players Association (MLBPA) have agreed to stay the discipline of Jose Guillen of the Kansas City Royals and Jay Gibbons of the Baltimore Orioles for 10 days to allow for further negotiations over revisions to the Joint Drug Agreement.

MLB.com Passes 19 Million Baseball Tickets Sold Online for 2008 MLB Season
Milepost reached more than two months faster than in record-setting 2007 season
NEW YORK, 03/27/2008 -- MLB Advanced Media, LP (MLBAM), the interactive media and Internet company of Major League Baseball, announced today that it has sold more than 19 million tickets on behalf of the League's 30 clubs at MLB.com, the official website of Major League Baseball, and the individual club sites.
During its record-setting 2007 season in which more than 27 million tickets were sold online, MLBAM had sold 14.7 million tickets on this date and did not reach the 19 million tickets sold mark until May 31.
