Monday, May 05, 2008 -- Lindsay Lohan ("Mean Girls," "Bobby") will join the cast of ABC's hit comedy "Ugly Betty," appearing in the upcoming Season Finale and in five episodes next season. Viewers will first see Lohan's character in the Season Finale episode airing THURSDAY, MAY 22 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET). She'll play a mean girl from high school who suddenly resurfaces in Betty's life. Following Plea Bargain, Lindsay Lohan to Spend 1 Day in Jail
24 August 2007, Washington (By Ray McDonald) -- Lindsay Lohan will spend one day behind bars for drunken driving and cocaine possession.
The 21-year-old actress must also serve 10 days of community service, complete an 18-month alcohol education program, pay hundreds of dollars in fines, and complete a three-day county coroner program in which she'll visit a morgue and talk to victims of drunken drivers. » read more »

15 August 2007 -- Lindsay Lohan is being sued by a woman who was a passenger in a car the actress allegedly chased while under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
Filing the August 14 lawsuit in Los Angeles County Superior Court, Tracie Rice said Lohan "put me through one of the most frightening experiences of my life."
The lawsuit alleges assault and negligence on Lohan's part, along with intentional infliction of emotional distress. It seeks unspecified damages and also payment of medical and other expenses related to emotional distress. » read more »
Lindsay Lohan Reportedly Checks Into Utah Rehab Center
Washington, 06 August 2007 (By Ray McDonald) -- Lindsay Lohan has reportedly checked into a Utah rehabilitation center.
CBS News reports the 21-year-old actress has checked into the Cirque Lodge drug and alcohol treatment center in Sundance, Utah.
It would be her third stint in rehab, following two stays at Wonderland and Promises in the Los Angeles area. Town and Country Magazine recently named Cirque Lodge as one of the nation's top substance abuse treatment facilities. » read more »

17 July 2007 -- Lindsay Lohan's out of rehab...and back on the party circuit. The 21-year-old actress completed a 45-day residential substance abuse treatment program July 13, and the following night was seen at a Las Vegas nightclub.
In a statement to Access Hollywood, publicist Leslie Sloan Zelnick said Lohan is now in an outpatient program comprising daily attendance at Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, outpatient therapy, and daily testing. » read more »

31 May 2007 -- Lindsay Lohan's estranged father says the actress has multiple addictions, including alcohol and the painkiller OxyContin.
Speaking to E! Online, Michael Lohan said he spoke to staff members at her latest rehabilitation facility, and is confident they are providing her with proper care.
The 20-year-old actress checked into a facility on May 28, after crashing her car and being arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants. This is her second rehab stay this year. » read more »

30 May 2007 -- Lindsay Lohan's publicist says the actress is back in rehab.
In a May 29 statement, Leslie Sloan Zelnick said the troubled 20-year-old "admitted herself to an intensive medical rehabilitation facility" on May 28.
The move follows a weekend in which Lohan crashed her Mercedes Benz, was arrested for suspicion of driving while intoxicated, and was photographed closed-eyed and slumped in the passenger seat of a friend's car. » read more »
