Heaters Could Pose A Fire Hazard
June 28, 2007 -- WASHINGTON, D.C. - The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with the firm named below, today announced a voluntary recall of the following consumer product. Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed.
Name of Product: Lasko Ceramic Heaters
Units: About 1.2 million
Manufacturer: Lasko Products Inc., of West Chester, Pa.
Hazard: The heater’s cord can overheat where it enters the base of the unit, which could pose a fire hazard to consumers. » read more »
