Kenny Mayne Joins ESPN The Magazine as the New Voice of "Outtakes"
November 5, 2007 -- ESPN The Magazine announced today that ESPN anchor and reporter Kenny Mayne will expand his ESPN role by joining The Mag as the new voice of “Outtakes.” “Outtakes,” one of the most popular columns of the award winning magazine, premiered in The Magazine’s debut issue in 1998, and features comical and off-beat interviews with sports’ biggest names. The column runs in each issue of The Magazine.
For his first column, Mayne interviewed his “Outtakes” predecessor Dan Patrick.
