09/03/2007, KANSAS CITY -- The Kansas City Royals made a series of roster moves today and announced several more moves for tomorrow. Prior to tonight's game in Texas, the Kansas City Royals reinstated outfielder Mark Teahen from the 15-day disabled list, and recalled right-handed pitchers Kyle Davies and Leo Nunez from Wichita (AA). Minnesota Twins to Recall Infielder Luis Rodriguez
08/31/2007, Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN -- The Minnesota Twins announced after tonight's game that they will recall infielder Luis Rodriguez from Triple-A Rochester in time for Saturday morning's game vs. the Kansas City Royals. Since being optioned to Rochester on August 21, Luis Rodriguez batted .421 (8-for-19) with one double and one RBI in six games for the Red Wings.
In 44 games with the Minnesota Twins this season, Luis Rodriguez is batting .194 (21-for-108) with three doubles, two home runs and seven RBIs.

08/31/2007, KANSAS CITY -- The Kansas City Royals have returned first baseman/designated hitter Mike Sweeney from his rehab assignment with Omaha (AAA) and reinstated him from the 60-day disabled list prior to tonight's second game in Minnesota. To make room for Sweeney on the active roster, the Kansas City Royals optioned right-handed pitcher Kyle Davies to Wichita (AA). Pitcher Josh Rupe and infielder Joaquin Arias are the only two players on the 40-man roster scheduled to participate. Rupe has been on the 60-day DL since June 16 sore right elbow. Arias has missed the entire 2007 season while recovering from injuries. » read more »

08/21/2007, CHICAGO -- Prior to tonight's game vs. Kansas City Royals, the Chicago White Sox placed infielder Alex Cintron on the Major League bereavement list and recalled infielder/outfielder Andy Gonzalez from Class AAA Charlotte.
Cintron, 28, is batting .217 (33-152) with no home runs and 14 RBI in 58 games this season. In accordance with Major League Baseball rules, Cintron must remain on the bereavement list a minimum of three days. » read more »
