July 12, 2007 -- In a speech today before the National Association of Minority Media Executives Annual Conference, Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean responded to President Bush’s remarks today, saying that it’s wrong to keep our already overextended troops in the middle of a civil war in Iraq to learn what we already know now: the surge is not working. He added that we need to elect a Democratic President in 2008 to end the war.
