Houston Astros Return to Houston for Six-Game Homestand

Houston Astros face Milwaukee Brewers and Cincinnati Reds at Minute Maid Park

HOUSTON, 04/26/2007 12:27 PM ET -- The Houston Astros return from a four-city, nine-game road trip to play host to the Milwaukee Brewers (April 27-29) for a three-game series, followed by a series against the Cincinnati Reds (May 1-3).

Highlights of the homestand include: CITGO Day (April 27); Friday Night Fireworks (April 27); Tommy Bahama Island Cowboy Classic (April 30); and the Reliant Energy Home Run Derby with the Houston Texans (May 3).

Pittsburgh Pirates Set to Host "Pups in the Park" Event

04/24/2007 1:27 PM ET -- The Pittsburgh Pirates are set to host the first of six "Pups in the Park" events during the 2007 season on Thursday, April 26, when the Pirates take on the Houston Astros at 12:35 p.m. The event, which is sponsored by Del Monte's Pup-Peroni® brand of dog treats, will benefit Pittsburgh-based animal organizations.

Once inside the ballpark, fans can enjoy the Pirates game with their dogs on the Southwest Flight Deck located underneath the left-field scoreboard. Complimentary Pup-Peroni dog treats and a variety of activities will be available for all pups. » read more »
