December 20, 2007 -- SANTA FE -- New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson today announced that Beer For My Horses, a feature film starring country music star Toby Keith (Broken Bridges), and Rodney Carrington (Rodney TV series) will be shot in New Mexico.

Colorado Governor Ritter Announces New Motion Picture To Be Filmed At U.S. Air Force Academy In Colorado Springs
Nov. 5, 2007 -- Colorado Governor Bill Ritter announced today that SummitWorks LLC, an independent film production company based in Park City, Utah, has received approval by the Department of Defense to film its upcoming feature production, Bring Me Men, on the U.S. Air Force Academy installation in Colorado Springs.
Bring Me Men is the first motion picture to be approved by the Pentagon for filming at the United States Air Force Academy. Principal photography is slated for spring and summer 2008. » read more »

Owen Wilson Pulls Out of Upcoming Movie with Ben Stiller
29 August 2007, Washington (By Ray McDonald) -- Owen Wilson has pulled out of his upcoming movie with Ben Stiller while he recovers from a reported suicide attempt.
Variety reports the 38-year-old actor has dropped out of Tropic Thunder, a DreamWorks comedy he was set to begin shooting in two to three weeks. The trade paper states Wilson's role would require a week's worth of filming. Stiller, who is producing and starring in the film, began shooting six weeks ago in Hawaii. » read more »

'Superbad' Tops US Weekend Box Office Sales for 'Supergood' Second Week
27 August 2007,Washington (By Ray McDonald) -- A group of teenagers has ushered Hollywood into uncharted box-office territory. Superbad, a story of three geeky friends' quest for alcohol for a high school party, retained last weekend's attendance title, taking in $18 million in ticket sales. Its 10-day total stands at $68.6 million.

'Superbad' Super Good at US Box Offices Over Weekend
20 August 2007 -- Superbad was super good over the weekend, as it claimed the U.S. box office championship.
The teen comedy from Sony, which featured no big-name stars, took in $31.2 million. It relegated the previous title-holder, Rush Hour 3, to second place with $21.8 million. Its two-week total now stands at $88.2 million.
The Warner Bros. sci-fi tale The Invasion, starring Daniel Craig and Nicole Kidman, opened a disappointing fifth with $6 million. » read more »
