New 'American Idol' Season Begins January 15
Washington, 11 January 2008 (By Mary Morningstar) -- American Idol will kick off its seventh season on January 15. Last summer, auditions took place in San Diego, Dallas, Omaha, Atlanta, Charleston, Miami and Philadelphia. Contestants had to be between the ages of 16 and 28 to audition.
FOX-TV will air two shows weekly through February 6 that will show highlights of the auditions.
On February 13, we'll learn who the 24 finalists are. The 12 male finalists will perform on February 19 and the 12 female finalists will take the Hollywood stage on February 20. » read more »

Atlanta Braves Announce Time Changes for Friday, September 21 and Saturday, September 22 Baseball Games
09/08/2007 -- The Atlanta Braves game on Friday, September 21 versus the Milwaukee Brewers has been moved from 7:35 p.m. to 7:05 p.m. ET to accommodate an ESPN broadcast while the Atlanta Braves game Saturday, September 22 versus the Milwaukee Brewers has been picked up by Fox, changing the game time from 7:05 p.m. to 3:55 p.m.
Fans that have tickets for the game can use their original ticket to gain entrance to Turner Field that evening. The ballpark gates will open at 4:35 p.m. on September 21 and 1:25 p.m. ET on September 22.
