Florida Marlins Set 2008 MLB Opening Day Roster
MIAMI, 03/30/2008 -- The Florida Marlins, who open the 2008 regular season on Monday, March 31 vs. the New York Mets at 4:10 p.m. ET at Dolphin Stadium, today set their 2008 Opening Day roster. The announcement was made by President of Baseball Operations Larry Beinfest.
The Marlins 25-man roster currently stands as follows:
Right-handed pitchers (7): Lee Gardner, Kevin Gregg, Logan Kensing, Matt Lindstrom, Justin Miller, Ricky Nolasco, Rick VandenHurk
Left-handed pitchers (5): Mark Hendrickson, Andrew Miller, Scott Olsen, Renyel Pinto, Taylor Tankersley

MIAMI, 03/26/2008 -- The Florida Marlins are proud to announce the sixth season of its "Stars and Stripes" ticket program for the United States Military staff including: Active and Reserve personnel, National Guard, and their dependents, to attend Sunday Marlins regular season games at no cost. During the first five years of the complimentary ticket program, close to 26,000 tickets have been provided for members of the United States Military and their families during the first five years of the program. » read more »

02/04/2008, MIAMI -- The Florida Marlins welcome all fans to the Annual Broward Health Florida Marlins FanFest on Saturday, Feb. 9 at Dolphin Stadium from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The 2008 Broward Health Florida Marlins FanFest will follow the 2008 Marlins Caravan, which kicks off on Feb. 4.
The Marlins Broward Health FanFest also marks the first time individual game tickets for the 2008 season will be available for sale, and will also feature a Select-A-Seat for fans interested in the various ticket plans the team offers.
