Remake of Theo Van Gogh Film, Starring Steve Buscemi, Premieres in Amsterdam
08 May 2007 -- A remake of the film Interview by slain Dutch director Theo van Gogh premiered in his home city of Amsterdam Monday night. The American-Dutch co-production, directed by and starring American Steve Buscemi, is something of a tribute to van Gogh, who was murdered by a Muslim extremist three years ago.

'Spider-Man 3' Smashes US Box Office Records
07 May 2007 -- Spider-Man 3 smashed U.S. box office records last weekend, netting $148 million in its first three days of release.
The tally beats the previous record of $135.6 million, set last summer by Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest.
The web-slinging hero has also proven irresistable overseas, grossing $375 million globally. This represents a profit of $117 million, allowing for the film's production budget of $258 million.
