The Air Force is modifying a firm fixed price contract with Lockheed Martin Co., Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company of Marietta Ga., not to exceed $470,000,000. This contract modification is an undefinitized contract action for the procurement of six fiscal 2009 HC/MC-130J aircraft and associated long lead material and non-recurring aircraft production effort using fiscal 2008 advance procurement funding. At this time $75,000,000 has been obligated. Graybar Electric Inc., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a maximum $74,000,000.00 fixed price with economic price adjustment, indefinite delivery and indefinite quantity contract for Maintenance, Repair and Operations supplies. There are no other locations of performance.
Using services are Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and Federal Civilian Agencies. This contract is exercising option year three. This proposal was originally Web solicited with seven responses. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Date of performance completion is May 18, 2009. The contracting activity is Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa. Force Protection Industries, Inc., Ladson, S.C., is being awarded a not to exceed $91,549,216 contract modification under previously awarded contract (M67854-06-C-5162) to acquire 151 Mine Resistant Ambush Protected vehicles and associated spares.
This action consummates a requirement under a foreign military sales order with the United Kingdom, Ministry of Defence. Work will be performed in Ladson, S.C., with the first vehicle deliveries scheduled to begin in July 2008, and work is expected to be completed Jul. 2009.
