Academy’s Contemporary Documentaries Series Continues with Stories of Confession and Survival

The 2006 Oscar®-nominated documentary short subject “Two Hands" spotlights pianist Leon Fleisher, who at the height of his career lost the ability to play with his right hand. Academy’s John Huston Lecture to Spotlight Controversial World War II Documentaries
Beverly Hills, CA, March 31, 2008 – The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ John Huston Lecture on Documentary Film will acknowledge the lecture series’ namesake with a special screening of both of his controversial documentary classics from World War II, “San Pietro” and “Let There Be Light,” on Tuesday, April 15, at 7:30 p.m. in the Linwood Dunn Theater.
