December 10, 2007 -- SPRINGFIELD – Illinois Governor Rod R. Blagojevich today issued a state disaster proclamation for Morgan County after a weekend ice storm downed trees and power lines, blocking streets and leaving nearly 10,000 homes without power. Arkansas Governor Beebe Declares Two Counties Disaster Areas Due To Tornado And Thunderstorm Damage

Oct 19, 2007 -- LITTLE ROCK – Arkansas Governor Mike Beebe has declared Crittenden and Lincoln Counties state disaster areas due to the damage caused by thunderstorms and tornadoes on Wednesday, October 17 and early Thursday, October 18.

The declaration releases $100,000 from the Governor’s Disaster Fund to be used by the Arkansas Department of Emergency Management through the Individual Assistance Program.
