August 15, 2007 -- TRENTON - New Jersey Attorney General Anne Milgram and Criminal Justice Director Gregory A. Paw announced that a Monmouth County contractor and his corporation were indicted today on a theft charge for allegedly stealing money from construction clients, including two churches.
According to Insurance Fraud Prosecutor Greta Gooden Brown, Joseph Kohler, 44, Holmdel, and JenJo, Inc., Kohler’s construction company located in Holmdel, were charged with second-degree theft by failure to make required disposition of property received. » read more »

Report: More Contractors Getting Killed in Iraq
19 May 2007 -- A published report says 2007 could be the most lethal year yet for civilian employees of private companies operating in Iraq's war zones.
Saturday's New York Times says figures from the U.S. Labor Department show at least 146 contract workers were killed in Iraq during the first three months of this year. It is the highest number of civilian casualties for any similar period since the U.S.-led war began in March 2003. » read more »
