PLOIESTI, Romania--Wednesday, October 07, 2009-- In line with a major initiative by the European Union (EU) to reduce emissions, GE Energy, the Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company S.A. and the energy development company ContourGlobal today celebrated the opening of a new cogeneration plant at Coca-Cola Hellenic’s Ploiesti bottling facility near Bucharest.
The Romania natural gas-fueled cogeneration plant represents the first of a planned group of 15 combined heat and power (CHP) plants that will be installed at Coca-Cola Hellenic’s facilities in 12 European countries. » read more »
Kentucky Governor, Mayor Commemorate Grand Opening of Coca-Cola Enterprises’ New IT Development Center in Louisville
March 02, 2009 -- FRANKFORT, Ky. – Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear, Louisville Mayor Jerry Abramson, along with state and local economic development representatives today joined officials from Coca-Cola Enterprises (NYSE: CCE) to commemorate the opening of the company’s new Information Technology (IT) Development Center in Louisville.
The 5,600 square-foot Business Information Services (BIS) Development Center, located on Corporate Campus Drive, will be an extension of IT services provided from the system’s Atlanta group, where Coca-Cola Enterprises is headquartered. Coca-Cola Joins WWF in International Water Conservation Campaign
05 June 2007 -- The Coca-Cola Company and the World Wildlife Fund have announced a global project to conserve water, focusing on seven international rivers. The head of the soft drink company says Coca-Cola also aims to return to nature all the water it uses in the manufacture of beverages. Daniel Schearf reports from Beijing.
