Cleveland Indians Set 2008 MLB Opening Day Roster
03/30/2008, CLEVELAND -- The Cleveland Indians today announced the club has set its Opening Day roster for the 2008 Championship Season, the 108th campaign in the history of the Cleveland American League franchise.
Today the Cleveland Indians placed OF Shin-soo Choo on the 15-day disabled list (retroactive to March 21) as he rehabilitates from reconstructive left elbow surgery in September of 2007. Also today, the Indians reassigned CA Yamid Haad and INF Andy Gonzalez to Minor League Camp.

Cleveland Indians Pass 1.4 Million Baseball Ticket Mark
03/25/2008 -- The Cleveland Indians have surpassed the 1.4 million ticket mark, which wasn't achieved until May 14, 2007.
The following represents the latest update relative to 2008 ticket sales:
• Season Ticket Sales are up nearly 25%, eclipsing last year's total Season Ticket number in early January.
• Group Sales are up 50% compared to last year at this time.
