Cleveland Clinic Endorses Ohio Governor’s Energy Bill

1.7.08 - Columbus, Ohio – Ohio Governor Ted Strickland announced today that the Cleveland Clinic has voiced its support for the Governor’s Energy, Jobs and Progress plan (Senate Bill 221) and has encouraged passage of the bill in its current form. A copy of the Cleveland Clinic letter endorsing the plan is included below:

Barack Obama: Obama, Ohio Leaders Honor First African American Mayor of Cleveland Carl Stokes

November 14, 2007 -- WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator Barack Obama (D-IL) joined Senators George Voinovich (R-OH) and Sherrod Brown (D-OH) to introduce a resolution honoring the late Carl Stokes, who served as the first African American mayor of a major city. This month honors the 40th anniversary since he was elected Mayor of Cleveland in 1967.

Cleveland Indians Announce ALCS Pregame Festivities at Jacobs Field Beginning Oct. 15

Tribe fans encouraged to be in seats 45 minutes prior to first pitch for pregame ceremonies

10/12/2007, CLEVELAND -- The Cleveland Indians today announced pregame festivities for all three 2007 American League Championship Series Games at Jacobs Field beginning next week on Monday, October 15 at 7:10PM vs. the Boston Red Sox.

Fans are encouraged to be in their seats 45 minutes prior to each game to enjoy all pregame festivities. Jacobs Field Gates will open two (2) hours prior to game time for all postseason games.
