CENTAF Airpower Summary for May 31, 2007
6/1/2007 - SOUTHWEST ASIA (AFPN) -- Coalition airpower supported coalition ground forces in Iraq and International Security Assistance Force troops in Afghanistan during operations May 31, according to Combined Air and Space Operations Center officials here.
In Afghanistan, an Air Force F-15E Strike Eagle dropped a guided bomb unit-38 on an enemy compound reported to have been the origin of a mortar attack on coalition troops in Musa Qal'eh. An on-scene joint terminal attack controller reported the bomb hit the target.
