Tuesday, March 04, 2008 -- On Sunday, March 2, 2008, stars from ABC's "All My Children," "One Life to Live," "General Hospital" and "The View" performed at the 4th Annual ABC Daytime Salutes Broadway Cares/ Equity Fights AIDS at Town Hall in New York City. The annual event raised $300,000, bringing the cumulative total to more than one million dollars since the show's inception in 2005. 29 October 2007, Washington (By Mary Morningstar) -- Duran Duran will launch the November 13 release of their new album Red Carpet Massacre with a 9-night engagement at the Barrymore Theater on Broadway.

The Broadway shows begin on November 1 and wrap up on November 12.

Duran Duran's itinerary also includes a show at the "World Football Idol" competition in Argentina on November 24. "World Football Idol" is described as "the first global event to find the next big football (soccer) star."
