Showtime Championship Boxing ESPN Classic to Air Thursday Nights Premieres March 27
March 26, 2008 -- Showtime Networks Inc. and ESPN announced today an exclusive agreement to replay select Showtime Championship Boxing telecasts from the extensive, 21-year Showtime boxing library. The package of fights, entitled Showtime Championship Boxing on ESPN, will be televised primarily on ESPN Classic running back-to-back bouts each Thursday night starting March 27 and include contemporary boxers as well as former heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield and current IBF and WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko. » read more »

November 5, 2007 -- The third season of ESPN’s boxing reality series, “The Contender,” will crown a new champion on Tuesday, Nov. 6 when cast finalists Sakio Bika meets Jaidon Codrington in a 10-round middleweight championship bout. The live telecast will be aired at 9 p.m. ET on ESPN from the TD Banknorth Garden in Boston. Sultan Ibragimov Decision Over Evander Holyfield for WBO Heavyweight Title to Be Replayed on ESPN Classic Saturday, Oct. 20
October 14, 2007 -- ESPN Classic will televise the exclusive replay of Sultan Ibragimov's victory over Evander Holyfield Saturday, Oct. 20 at 8 p.m., ET. Ibragimov scored a 12-round unanimous decision over Holyfield to remain the WBO Heavyweight Champion Saturday at the Khodynka Arena in Moscow, Russia.
Sultan Ibragimov remained undefeated at 22-0-1 while Holyfield's bid to become heavyweight champ for the fifth time in his career fell short. » read more »
