January 23, 2008 -- Washington, D.C. - The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced today that it has begun collecting additional fingerprints from international visitors arriving at Boston Logan International Airport (Logan). Hall of Famer Carl Yastrzemski, who won Baseball's Triple Crown and the American League Most Valuable Award in 1967, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to Game One of the 2007 World Series on Wednesday night at Fenway Park.

John Williams, reknowned American composer and conductor and five-time Academy Award winner will conduct America's orchestra, the Boston Pops, in the playing of the Star Spangled Banner prior to Game One. Recording artist Ashanti, will sing God Bless America during the seventh inning stretch.    » read more »
