Hall of Famer Carl Yastrzemski, who won Baseball's Triple Crown and the American League Most Valuable Award in 1967, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to Game One of the 2007 World Series on Wednesday night at Fenway Park.
John Williams, reknowned American composer and conductor and five-time Academy Award winner will conduct America's orchestra, the Boston Pops, in the playing of the Star Spangled Banner prior to Game One. Baseball Fans Have Opportunity to Purchase Tickets for Possible World Series Games at Fenway Park on Monday, Oct. 15
10/11/2007, BOSTON -- A limited number of tickets for Games 1, 2, 6 and 7 of the 2007 World Series, which may be played at Fenway Park, will be available by telephone only (while supplies last) beginning at 3 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 15.
