Hall of Famer Carl Yastrzemski, who won Baseball's Triple Crown and the American League Most Valuable Award in 1967, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to Game One of the 2007 World Series on Wednesday night at Fenway Park.

John Williams, reknowned American composer and conductor and five-time Academy Award winner will conduct America's orchestra, the Boston Pops, in the playing of the Star Spangled Banner prior to Game One. Washington, 28 September 2007 -- On September 28, Bruce Springsteen kicked off a North American tour in support of his new album Magic. He launched the 23-date outing in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

After wrapping up concerts in Boston, Massachusetts on November 19, the band will head to Europe where 13 concerts are scheduled in Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Germany, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Belgium, the U.K. and France.
