DC Grooves: Washington D.C. Outdoor Concert Series Rocks September

August 29, 2007 -- DC Grooves is back! The DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities announces the return of Washington's much anticipated evening outdoor concert series. This year's line-up features three internationally renowned performers: MC Hammer, Willie Colón and Little Richard. The shows run from 7pm to 9pm on Thursday, September 6 and 20, and Friday, September 14.

Arkansas Arts Council Presents ArtLinks 2007 in Rogers

August 27, 2007 - The Arkansas Arts Council will present its annual statewide conference on the arts, ArtLinks 2007: Connecting Commerce and the Creative Community, Oct. 21-22 at the John Q. August 23, 2007 -- FRANKFORT, Ky. – Every other year the Kentucky Arts Council offers visual and media artists an opportunity to compete for the Al Smith Individual Artist Fellowship awards of $7,500, to support the advancement and continuation of Kentucky artists’ careers, and recognize the creative excellence of their work.
