American Honda Reports October Sales
Honda and Acura models post double-digit gains
11.03.09 -- American Honda Motor Co., Inc., posted total October vehicle sales of 85,502, a decline of 4.0 percent compared to October 2008, based on the daily selling rate*. Honda Division posted October sales of 75,751, a decline of five units versus October 2008.
Honda total car sales decreased by 4.4 percent, to 44,537. Honda light-truck sales decreased 2.3 percent, to 31,214. Models showing sales increases included Accord with sales of 23,210, up 13.1 percent; CR-V with sales of 15,667, up 14.7 percent; and Pilot with sales of 6,339, up 22.7 percent. » read more »
Honda outlines environmental technologies
07.01.09 -- Honda is continuing its efforts to address the environmental challenges of global climate change, emissions reduction, and energy sustainability through a comprehensive approach that involves further improvements to gasoline engine fuel efficiency; the development of real-world alternatives to gasoline, including natural gas and the hydrogen-powered fuel cell car; and technology for refueling alternative fuel vehicles.
Additionally, Honda is pursuing advances in technology related to energy systems such as solar cells, electrical co-generation, and the efficient creation of renewable bio-fuels as part of its effort to develop real world solutions to environmental challenges.

American Honda reports June sales
Odyssey and Pilot sales increase 11.8 percent and 7.7 percent respectively
07.01.09 -- American Honda Motor Co., Inc., posted June vehicle sales of 100,420, a decline of 32.4 percent compared to June 2008 results*. American Honda year-to-date sales of 530,778 represent a 33.1 percent decrease.
Sales of Honda's Odyssey and Pilot light truck models showed gains of 11.8 percent and 7.7 percent respectively. Honda total car sales decreased 43.8 percent to 52,662 and Honda light truck sales decreased 5.6 percent to 39,478. 06.02.09 -- American Honda Motor Co., Inc., posted May total vehicle sales of 98,344, a decline of 39.2 percent compared to all-time record-setting May 2008 results. Year-to-date sales of 430,358 represent a 33.3 percent decrease on a daily-selling-rate basis* compared to last year.

Honda Statement on Proposed Establishment of a Single National Standard for Vehicle GHG Emissions and Fuel Economy

Study: Ford Edges Past Honda In Initial Quality for First Time
Ford surpasses Honda in initial quality and remains in a statistical tie at the top with Toyota.
DEARBORN, April 17, 2009 – Ford Motor Company, continuing its rapid quality improvement, surpassed Honda in initial vehicle quality for the first time and reached new levels of customer satisfaction with vehicle quality, a new survey shows.
