All-Star Game

03/25/2008 -- The New York Yankees announced today that the team will wear a special patch on their 2008 uniforms commemorating the final season of Yankee Stadium. In addition, the team will also don a patch in honor of the 2008 All-Star Game that will take place at Yankee Stadium on July 15, 2008. It is the first time the club's uniforms will be adorned with a patch for a full season since 2003, when the New York Yankees wore a patch commemorating the 100th anniversary of the franchise.

The "Yankee Stadium-The Final Season" patch will feature the main entrance of the original Stadium as it was prior to renovation in 1976. A "1923-2008" notation along the top of the patch recognizes the lifetime of the Stadium since its original Opening Day on April 18, 1923.    » read more »

02 July 2007 -- Major League Baseball has announced the 16 starters chosen by fans for next week's All-Star Game.

05/01/2007 11:16 AM ET -- All-Star Game balloting for the 78th Major League Baseball All-Star Game, to be held Tuesday, July 10 in San Francisco's AT&T Park, begins today for the Pittsburgh Pirates at PNC Park when the Pirates take on the Chicago Cubs at 7:05 p.m.

Fans in attendance will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite Pirates and major league players by filling out All-Star Game ballots available throughout PNC Park through June 17, a span of 25 Pirates home games.    » read more »

CLEVELAND, 04/19/2007 11:48 AM ET -- 2007 All-Star Balloting is underway on indians.com, while in-park balloting at Jacobs Field and all Cleveland Indians Team Shops begins April 25.

In-park balloting for Major League Baseball's 78th Annual Midsummer Classic in San Francisco will run from April 25 ending June 18 vs. Atlanta. All-Star Balloting will also run from April 25 until June 18 at All Cleveland Indians Team Shops.    » read more »
