EPA Orders Three Southeastern Illinois Oil Producers to Submit Information
CHICAGO (May 27, 2008) - U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Region 5 has ordered three southeastern Illinois oil producers to submit information on their oil production operations within 15 days.
The companies are Loeb Oil Co., Route 1 Country Club Road, Lawrenceville; Little D Drilling Inc., RR 1, Box 45, Saint Francisville; and Three Star Drilling and Producing Corp., 201 S. Christy, Sumner.
EPA alleges the companies have violated the Clean Air Act by failing to answer requests for information issued last November under the authority of the act. » read more »
