CBS Completes Acquisition of CNET
New CBS Interactive Represents Premier Online Content Network for Information and Entertainment
NEW YORK and SAN FRANCISCO, June 30, 2008 — CBS Corporation (NYSE: CBS.A and CBS) announced today that it has completed its acquisition of CNET Networks, Inc. and merged its operations into a newly expanded CBS Interactive division. The new division incorporates all of the premium online brands of both CBS and CNET Networks into one business unit.

NEW YORK, June 23 — CBS Corporation (NYSE: CBS.A and CBS) announced today that it has successfully completed the initial offering period of its tender offer for all outstanding shares of common stock of CNET Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: CNET). Approximately 78% of the outstanding shares of common stock of CNET have been tendered, which will make CNET a majority-owned subsidiary of CBS Corporation. » read more »
