Gartner: Context-Aware Computing Will Be a $12 Billion Market By 2012
Sydney, Australia, November 17, 2009 -- Enterprises can leverage context-aware computing to better target prospects, increase customer intimacy, and enhance associate productivity and collaboration, according to Gartner, Inc. as organisations begin to use context information to increase top- and bottom-line growth and context providers begin to consolidate and monetize their knowledge of their clients.
By 2012, Gartner predicts that context information will be a $12 billion market with at least two global context providers with more than 100 million subscribers each.
