DoD Identifies Army Casualty: Spc. Justin R. Mixon, 22, of Bogalusa, Louisiana
June 02, 2008 -- The Department of Defense announced today the death of a soldier who was supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Spc. Justin R. Mixon, 22, of Bogalusa, Louisiana, died June 1 in Baghdad Iraq, of wounds suffered when his vehicle encountered an improvised explosive device.
He was assigned to the 1st Squadron, 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment, Vilseck, Germany.
